What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash is preferred. But I do accept Venmo and Credit Cards.
What is a CBD massage, and why should I get one?
Great question! A CBD massage uses lotion infused with cannabidiol to help reduce inflammation, ease muscle tension, and promote deeper relaxation. It won’t get you high - it just helps your body unwind and feel better, faster. Perfect if you want your massage to go a little deeper and last a little longer. It can be especially helpful for arthritis and strains/sprains, as well as skin issues like eczema and psoriasis.
I've never had a massage, what should I expect?
I'm excited for you- thank you so much for trusting me with this experience! Before our session begins, we will chat about what brings you in. I will walk you through what to expect and answer any questions you have. The treatment will depend on what you are looking to achieve and are comfortable with. It is my goal to make sure you feel safe and at ease while in my studio.
How much do I undress for a table massage?
However you feel most comfortable. There is no right or wrong answer. With any level of undressing you will be covered with a sheet. Only the parts of your body I am working on at a time will be uncovered. My job is to meet you where you are at. If that means underwear on, that's fine. If that means no underwear but a bra, no problem. If you want a fully clothed table massage, I will make it work for you. And if you are comfortable with just the sheet and blanket, that is also totally ok. It is most important for you to feel safe and comfortable.
The pressure is a little too much/little, do I say something?
Yes! Absolutely.The same goes for if you are too hot/cold or need to use the restroom, etc. This is your time and your body. While i check in to make sure you are comfortable during the massage, I understand we sometimes worry about speaking up. I promise you won't hurt my feelings, or put me out at all if you want more or less pressure or need to blow your nose. If you struggle with using your voice, please let my studio be that safe space for you to practice it.
Is there a cancellation fee?
I understand things happen. Life can be quite unpredictable. If you are able, please give at least 24 hours so that others may have a chance to take the space. I try to be accommodating to unforeseen circumstances- however, if I am unable to fill the missed slot, you will be charged 50% of the appointment. No call/No shows will be charged for the full amount of the session. Thank you for helping me keep my schedule fair and balanced!
Do I tip?
While tips are fantastic and always appreciated, they are not required. I would rather you put that tip money towards re-booking regular self care sessions!
